Our Hosted UC Service unified messaging service allows users to access and manage voice messages in a variety of ways, such as through their email inbox, web browser, Cisco Jabber client, Cisco Unified IP phone, or smartphone. Cisco Unity Connection also includes robust speech recognition, empowering its users to manage their voice messages with voice commands. Hosted UC Service enables a unified inbox for users with Exchange integration so voice messages in Cisco Unity Connection and Microsoft Exchange mailboxes are synchronized. Users can play, delete, record, reply to, and forward voice messages directly from their Outlook inbox. The text-to-speech (TTS) capability allows users to listen to their emails and calendar appointments, and to access their Exchange contacts from Unity Connection.

Automated Attendant:

Flexible call handling and routing is available using the automated attendant feature. With advance call handlers, incoming calls can be routed within the organization by providing callers with various options, such as “Press 1 for Sales”, “Press 2 for Support”, etc. Using the built-in calendars and schedules, enterprises can serve their callers during holidays or off-business hours by routing calls to different destinations.
